Embracing Change
With our ever-changing world, there comes a need to evolve in all aspects of life. 2020 accelerated change in many ways we live our lives on a day-to-day basis. Where we call “home” is one of them and it plays a huge role in these changes.
People often wonder, why are house prices rising so quickly? The simple answer is that inventory is low and demand is high. Although this is a true statement, there are many other factors at play. One of the most impactful is the increasing trend of home food deliveries and online shopping. Companies like Amazon and Waitr have made leaving your home and going to a store to shop for basic goods and items almost irrelevant, and because of this, society has started to invest even more in their homes. Having the convenience of getting almost anything delivered to our doorstep has increased the time Americans are spending at home. “Home” is more important than ever, which is driving more and more people into the housing market. One thing that is constant is change, and this definitely applies to the housing market.
